Dear VW, “White Silver” is not a color. Stop.

Gray, dark gray, light gray, and really light gray. Oh yeah, and red, just so you don’t think your monitor got stuck in monochrome mode.

“Bright Platinum Metallic”
We should start a bullshit car colour contest.

I just looked at the VW site for my country and holy shit, VW is really beigekrieg, the only models with some color available are up!, Golf and Polo...

Oh, are we doing this? Okay, let’s do this.
Six “color” choices, only two of which aren’t grey scale. And what the heck is “ceramic metallic?” I’ll tell you. It’s grey.

In person, it looks like Porsche’s Chalk paint under certain light. It looks nice.

They used to offer crazy colors way back, check out this Blue Yellow Jetta!

The ND deserves a. Water color pallette. But ceramic metallic is actuallypretty awesome in person.

I’m sure it’s nice. But “White Silver” is still a rediculous name.

I’ll take your word for it. I’m just sad such a fun car doesn’t have fun colors anymore.

“White silver” seems like a surprisingly honest name for “silver so light and bland it might as well be work-truck white.”
Better than “iridium” in that sense, at least.

100% agree. There needs to be at least a BRG and bright blue in there.

Can someone please explain why the Fiata has the worst color choices ever?
Why is this color not option stateside!?!?!

Worse, that color with a tan interior was in the special launch edition, but not available afterward!

Ceramic Metallic is this:
I actually kind of like it. It’s very understated without being as boring as white or silver.

The annoying thing about that is the fact that they even have a bright blue - Dynamic Blue - that’s used in the same factory as the Miata, for use on the CX-3. And, Dynamic Blue could even be treated as a metallic throwback to Mariner Blue, one of the launch Miata colors:
And, a yellow and/or an orange would be nice, too.

That’s fine. I don’t think it’s bad. It’s still a contrived name for a shade along the grey scale.

I’m wondering if they are purposely holding back so when initial sales taper off in a year or two they can start the endless stream of “Special Editions” in bright colors for one model year each.
